Mount Pocono and Pocono Summit
Although only separated by a couple of miles, with the Mount Pocono Auto Facility between them, these two railroad locations were very different in 1975.  The Mount Pocono station had been closed for many years and the Pocono Summit station still stood -- but since passenger service ended in 1971, it was likely vacant.  Across the tracks from the Pocono Summit station is a lumber yard which apparently had railroad service at one time.  The siding is still in place today -- complete with apparently forgotten boxcar -- but is cut at the grade crossing immediately railroad west of the lumber yard.  Bill Sheppard's Schematic Track Diagrams of the Erie Lackawanna Railway, dated October 1974,  shows the siding there serving Cramer Lumber.
